Details: A victim was lured into a fraudulent crypto investment scheme by an individual from a dating app, who recommended using the uniswap.online platform for short-term trading. After transferring funds to Crypto.com and subsequently to the scam platform, the victim was promised unrealistic returns of 20–50%. When attempting to withdraw the funds, they were told to pay upfront taxes of $38,000 to release the $198,000. The victim eventually discovered the website was a scam, having never met or spoken to the individual who initially encouraged the investment.
