Phishing Scam Impersonating Binance – Crypto Stolen After Fake Security
Type of Scam: Phishing / Impersonation
Summary:
I received an SMS claiming to be from Binance, warning of a security issue and instructing me to call a number. When I called, I spoke with someone claiming to be from Binance’s security team. They said my devices were infected with malware and advised me to transfer my BTC and ETH to a Trust Wallet for “safety” during a security check.
After transferring my funds, they vanished—along with my coins.

This was a sophisticated phishing scam. Please be aware: Binance does not request phone calls or ask for fund transfers via SMS.
