I was listening to a friend who was trying to help me transfer 3.4 BTC from Crypto On Chain to my Coinbase account. I wasn’t aware of any blockchain fees, but then “customer service” claimed I needed to pay an $18,000 blockchain fee to complete the transfer. It quickly became clear this was a scam.
